Judge Dennis Chassaniol

Dennis brings to the bench an impressive 29 years of legal experience, coupled with a deep understanding of our community as a lifelong resident of St. Charles County. As a devoted husband for over 30 years and a dedicated father who has raised four children here, Dennis cherishes the values and traditions that make our county a special place to call home. Judge Chassaniol is deeply ingrained in our community. A devoted parishioner for 28 years at Assumption, he has consistently embraced responsibility and tackled tough decisions. With leadership roles like School Board President under his belt, Judge Chassaniol has demonstrated unwavering commitment.

During weekends, he frequently engaged in coaching his four children in CYC athletics and orchestrating tournaments. His commitment to faith and service is further evidenced by his active participation in the O'Fallon Knight's of Columbus Council. Judge Chassaniol often dedicates time to his grandchildren or joins his wife Stacy in attending local charitable galas, where they wholeheartedly support nonprofit organizations in St. Charles County.

Rooted in his upbringing, Judge Chassaniol graduated from Duchesne High School in 1987 and later earned his degree from Mizzou. As a member of the NRA and staunch advocate for Republican St. Charles County conservative values, Dennis is committed to upholding the principles that matter most to our community.

Supporting local initiatives is dear to Judge Chassaniol’s life. He is a consistent supporter of galas at St. Dominic and Assumption, aiming to make private education accessible to all children. Moreover, Dennis and his wife Stacy dedicate themselves to assisting children and foster parents at the F.A.S.T. Food Pantry on a monthly basis.

Professionally, Judge Chassaniol has served in various capacities within the legal system, including assistant prosecutor at the St. Charles County Prosecutor's Office from 1995 to 1998. He then transitioned to private practice, where he honed his skills as a trial attorney, representing clients across Missouri, including in the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Missouri Supreme Court, and Federal Court.

In 2022, Judge Chassaniol was elected as Associate Circuit Judge for Division 10, where he currently serves as the Treatment Court Judge and Veterans Court Judge for the 11th Circuit. His dedication to justice is further underscored by his tenure as a former Municipal Judge for over twenty years, presiding in municipalities such as Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, O'Fallon, and Lake St. Louis, all within St. Charles County. He has also served as a judge in Moline Acres and Winfield.
